WesleyGrant - Our BOY!!!

WesleyGrant has become truly the BOY of the house! His favorite thing to say about boys and girls is the "Girls are Beautiful, mommy and Boys are Stong!" This truly portrays how he opperates....Sally is one to be gentle with, help and "boss" around and He is always trying to do things himself, experess his early leadership skills and "super hero"powers. His new favorite thing is to dance...the video above is when i caught him going outside in his underwear and dancing for the neighbors! crazy! I am seeing fruit in his life socially, emotionally and even spiritual. He told me last night..."mommy, i have a problem" 'What is wrong, wesleygrant?' "mommy, i have sin in my heart.....can you pray that I will obey?" WOW! We are so proud of our son! He is our BOY!

Sally - OUR GIRL!!!

Sally is JOY in our home! She is always seen with a purse, shoes on, a pacifier, jewlery or something on her head...or sometimes both! She loves food! and she is known for helping...cleaning up her brother's messes and loves to pray. We love our little sally!

Valentines Dance for Pa

The kids got a Valentines package from Pa in the mail. And we, including me, couldn't wait until Valentines to open it....so we tore into it and found gifts, only pa can give! The kids each got a singing animal singing them love songs. And there was enough candy to feed our entire neighborhood! So after a few pieces of candy, this is what happened next....enjoy! Thank you Pa!! We love you!

Family, Friends and Neighbors

We recently went to Georgia to visit Stew's family. We forgot our camera and so are lacking in the pics of that one...sorry Grandaddy and Nanna!! But we've returned and been able to continue using our house for lots of fun! These are some recent friends who came over. We live right near a park and the kids love walking over there. We have really gotten to know surrounding kids that live here in our neighborhood that way. Sally and Wesleygrant continue to wave and say high to anyone that will look their way...they are quite the show around here!

We are getting ready for our block party this weekend! We are hosting it and it is out of control! I mean, when they throw parties around here, they do it all! We have neighbors bringing tamales, beans, rice, and mexican pastries! We are cooking some hotdogs for kids and there will even be a big bouncing Castle for the kids in our back yard!! crazy!! I'll be sure my camera is ready and share more next week!

Potty Traing Time!

So We have started into the potty training...very slow, i must say...but with hopes of these little guys being trained by June when baby comes! They love their potties....but sit on them to watch tv....they get excited about underwear, but only sally will wear them....they want the candy and treats but don't want to go potty....they like watching elmo go potty, but think it is just for him. Okay, so truth behind all these pictures....we aren't quite ready yet, but we are headed for boot camp in a week....better get ready, little ones!

Crawfords in town!

We enjoyed a few days last week with the crawfords! Sally loved the girl time and wesleygrant enjoyed being their "little brother". We ate a feast of arabic food with them and the Fords. And lived just some good times with them. We love you guys! Can't wait to see you again!!

Our Adventure to Oklahoma City

Many nights as we were visiting their friends, staying up late and eating sugar, the kids would just go crazy in the floor....wow! is all hilary and i kept saying when we would look at each other....An unforgetable experience....THANK YOU FAUZY AND EMAN!!!! WE LOVE YOU!

Our last arabic meal....my kids loved the food and so did hilary and I!!
Rama and wesleygrant....they were buddies the whole time, even though they couldn't speak each other's language!
Lots of candy...man, my children didn't know what to think of all the sugar...but loved it of cours.
The volcano machine that rained balls down on us!! So fun! I think we adults liked it more than the children!
pizza, then a movie with ice cream, then playing, then slushy's before we went...we stayed there from 3pm until about 6:30pm!! There was so much to do!
sally and meshal are 3 days apart...so cute!

we went to incredible pizza and it held up to its name!!
at the mall....fauzy and the boys
At the play area in the mall...sally and meshal
Wesleygrant experienced staying up late and eating chocolate cake as we all visited with their friends....i think he would like to change our schedule at home now....
Our first night....It was pouring rain and the kids were so excited....it was 11pm, by the way in this picture....
Our friend, Hilary and I decided to go and visit our friends from Saudi Arabia, who were in Oklahoma City. We never expected what we would experience! It was unbelievable! This family treated us just like we were their family...we stayed with them in their home, ate what they ate, talked with their family in Saudi Arabia, stayed up late talking with girls and doing make-up....while experiencing a few of the fun treats in oklahoma city. Words cannot describe enough of our experience. Fauzy and Eman, you are truly special people in our hearts and we love you and your family so much. Thank you for everything you gave, did and said to us! We will not forget our experience and we look forward to visting you in New York City!!!
