We got to go and visit grandparents and great grandparents this past week and the kids loved being outside. The trip anticipated some sorrow as my mother died 2 yrs ago on the day we were there, but actually, as we went through her things and spent time with family out around the things my mother loved most, we celebrated her life...and we accepted this new season we have been living out since she died. The legacy she has given to me from those before her is being passed on to my children and so many more....it was so good to be with family....we love you all! Thank you pa and all for how you loved on us! we love you!

A Weekend at the Farm

We spent last weekend at the farm, riding 4 wheelers, eating good southern cooking, going to a cowboy church and hanging out with great grandparents and cousins! It was great! My kiddos proved to be "city kids", but over time maybe some of the country will do them some good! Every kid needs a little country...love you all....thank you for the fun weekend pa!!

The Crawford's came to Austin!!!

The Crawford came through Austin and spent 5 days with us! It was so much fun!! We were so thankful to get to spend some quality time with the Crawfords. We got a babysitter and got to just talk with Wes and Melissa and hear what God is doing in their lives in Monterrey, MX. Melissa and I got to talk about parenting. Thank you Melissa for your support and example to me as you were here. We love you Crawfords!! It is TOO quiet and empty now that you've gone! We found Claire's pacifier! so funny! Love you guys!

A Day at the Beach!!!

We headed to the beach today and found a spot that wasn't crowded. The kids had a blast...Wesley Grant was covered in sand, head to toe, when we were done. Sally sat on the towel like a princess eating pretzels until we noticed she was sharing with all the seagulls....yikes! But we surrvived and had a great day!

Us here in Austin!!

We've been here in Austin, TX for 7 months now....we look forward to sharing our lives with you here!
