Another Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

A friend of mine and I decided to take our kiddos to the pumpkin patch wg's school went to. It was so much fun! Never got the perfect "kids in pumpkins" picture...but we tried....oh well. =) Thanks Teri for today! It was so much fun!

Our garden!

Our Garden is exploding! It is so fun! I can't believe how beautiful it is! We have our own compose pile that we put our food trash in...wg thinks it is really fun...mr. incredible, there....It has actually gotten bigger than this...just haven't been able to catch up...stay tuned for some veggies!

Dressing up

So, dressing up is the hottest thing in our home these days....i think my children wear more outfits than clothes. Laura Pinkstaff...now i know how you must feel with your girls! It is so fun! So, here is my Buzz and my Fairy! What does "Dressing Up" really mean anyway? who came up with that...hmmm

Kovacs come to visit!

We just had the most amazing family come and stay with us for 5 days! How house totalled 7 kids and 4 adults and it was the most pleasant company we have had!! The kids played together like they were brothers and sisters and had known each other for a long time...it was precious! I wish this family lived here in austin....but they were just passing through. We met the Kovacs through mutual friends and have learned from each other through our blogs over the past 2 years. Shawnda and I have talked a lot about parenting, husbands, living in community.....we've talked so much that we feel like we've known each other for years...but reality, this was the first time we had all been in person with each other. wow! this family was such a blessing to our lives! We really miss them already.

The Kovacs have adopted 3 of their 4 children. Jason works for an adoption fund and helps churches and families work through the whole doctrine on adoption by literally adopting children all over. He helps equip churches and people work through adoption. Stew and I have been moved within our hearts to adopt and especially over this last month with different circumstances touching our lives. The kovacs visit was a timely one as we got to experience thier family and to talk with them about our own personal steps towards adoption! As I looked into the eyes of her adopted children, I saw myself, knowing God had adopted me. The gospel is so clear when you experience and hear their story as a family. Kovacs, we love you so much and absolutely can't thank you enough for the blessings you gave to our family during your visit! Can't wait to see you again!

Tyler's Birthday!

Wesleygrant's friend, Tyler Truss, had a wonderful birthday last saturday! His mommy is so super creative and it was fun for all the kiddos to get together in their costumes! There were games, prizes, pumpkin decorating and great snacks...in the end all the boys wrestled with thier super costumes and the girls chilled out on the swing....so hilarious! Thank you Kim for everything! It was so much fun!!

Visiting Grandparents

A couple of weekends ago, me and the kids went to my grandparents and dad's house for the weekend. It was really fun and really good. Stew took time to rest the whole weekend...i came back needing rest! =) My turn is coming. It is so good to just get out of the city and be in the country! This was fun for me, b/c i used to spend weekends here as a child. It was really good to spend time with family.

The Garden

The garden continues to form! We are so exciting! It has been a process that has given many examples to even how are hearts are with the Lord...how the body works together. We are so thankful to many who have continued to help and start it. Things are starting to pop up..if we can keep welseygrant and sally from digging it up...i think we might have some veggies to try soon!

The Snows

Aaron and Morgan have become dear friends to us. We met them through another friend and stew and aaron soon became friends as their worlds began coliding and overlapping between people and heart for God. We love when they come visit. This time, Aaron taught wesley grant to say, "Bonk your knoggin!" Aaron, he still is saying that...ha! We love you guys! Thank you for your encouragement and love you give everytime you come to town!
