One of the students who came to visit karis at her birth, brought his family back for dinner. He and his wife have 4 children. Tawfik is from Lybia, Africa and his wife fromBulgaria...they are muslim. Tawfik is a student at the university. The evening wasn't quite as we'd "planned"...meaning me and stew kept having to take care of kids or answer important phone calls...but thankfully our friends, Joey and Krystal Shaw were there.
